Support our research and development projects to give communities more reliable access to power and light. The following three projects could be rolled out this year to our rural Peruvian communities, with your help:
Energy Sharing – Our large turbines service community buildings such as schools or health centres. We want these turbines to act as charging hubs for individuals homes, this is our ‘Luzecita’ (little lights in Spanish) project.
Remote Monitor – Our remote monitor sends us 10-minute averaged turbine and environment data, giving us eyes on our equipment, allowing us to respond to breakdowns quicker, whilst collecting important performance data we can use to improve our designs. We want to develop the prototype into a live model to install in all turbines.
Tower Enhancements – A new tower design will make use of cheap and available materials with improved safety and ease of maintenance activities.
In return for your donation, you can join our R&D Tribe and receive regular updates by email of how our projects are progressing and access to the turbine performance online system. Thank you!
